MARATHON JOURNAL
In October 2004, my best friend Erin Leffelman and I will be running in the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon. I know that I posted this journal site about 6 mos. ago and well I have what, three entries at the moment, but with the coming new year be prepared to check back and see my progress. I plan to begin with simple basic workouts just to begin getting my body into shape, then as the year rolls on begin my training for the marathon. Wish me luck everyone. I'm going to do this!

I got my lazy ass back up and running today. Thank god for my roomate otherwise I probably wouldn't have done it. It was a really nice run actually though. Even though the weather was insainly hot and the humidity was almost unbearable, the Lake Michigan breeze kept things cooled down.

I FINALLY started training today. After the recent decision between me and Erin to do the Chicago Marathon instead of the LA Marathon I figured I should get on the ball and begin to get my body into shape. (The Chicago Marathon is in October..OF THIS YEAR!!!) That leaves me 14 weeks to get my body into running mode when normaly it takes many marathon trainers 16 weeks. Good god I'm going to die! But at least I'll be healthy.
